There are three marinas in the port of Dunkerque; Port du Grand Large is to port once through the Avant Port and past the lighthouse; Bassin du Commerce which is past the yacht club pontoons and through the lock and into the basin by the belfry; and the new Bassin de la Marine which is to sta'bd of Bassin d'Arriere Port.

There are also visitors' berths available at the Yacht Club du Nord.

If you are bound for the inner marina docks, call Dunkerque VTS (VHF 73).

The Trystram lock provides access to the inner harbor and the canal network.
