Surprisingly, provisioning in Plymouth, without transport, is not particularly easy. None of the marinas have good provision shops very close. It is best to use a taxi and shop in one of the main supermarkets. All the major chains are represented in the city.
There is a small Spar minimarket in the Barbican area and small village shops in various suburbs and surrounding villages.
