The marina at the port of Ouistreham is accessible at all states of the tide.
If proceeding up the 14km canal to Caen, the lock there is open approximately 2 hrs each side of HW.
If sailing to Caen from Ouistreham, leave insufficient time (at least 30 minutes) to reach the bridge at Benouville (Pegasus Bridge) at 1010, 1330 or 1630. On leaving Caen, the bridge at the entrance to the marina opens at 0845, 1200 and 1500.
