Les Sables d’Olonne - Docking

Apr 02, 2019

Report to the captainerie pontoon (shown below) at the entrance to Port Olona.

There are three port basins at Les Sables d'Olonne, of which two are of interest to cruisers: Bassin de Peche (fishing harbor); and Port Olona (the main yacht marina).

Marinas:

Bassin de Peche (fishing harbor) is the first basin to starboard after the harbor entrance. There is now a new, small marina here on the south side of the harbor. This is much closer to the town and the beaches.

Port Olona is a huge marina and the main mooring option for visiting yachts. It is approached via a long channel from the entrance with the marina at the far end and provides all possible services. Report to the captainerie pontoon (shown below) at the entrance to Port Olona.
