Description:
Holyhead is located on Holy Island, just off the north-west coast of Anglesey to which it is connected by road and rail bridges.
It is a natural deep-water harbour and offers good protection and is accessible at all states of the tide. It is also a busy ferry port for the sea links to Ireland.
