Fair Isle - Docking

Photo of Fair Isle Harbour from S/Y Taipan

This tiny harbour is open to the NE but is otherwise, very sheltered. The northern end of the wharf is used by the 'Good Shepherd' ferry, but there is room for up to 2 or 3 yachts to berth alongside ahead of it. More is rafted up. If the weather is settled, anchoring further out in the harbour is possible.

The main attraction here is the bird life. There are no facilities on the quay there is an accommodation block for visiting birdwatchers and so it is likely water is obtainable from there.

Added as a new port September 2017.
