There is a mini-market in Fore Street, which, although small, has most things. There are also specialist shops (butchers, fishmongers, greengrocer) in the town. For longer-term provisioning, Plymouth would give greater choice. The local pasties are to be recommended, though!
There is a launderette at northern end of Fore Street, near the Post Office.
