Mar 26, 2019

There is now a marina at Oban.  It is called North Pier Pontoons and is a transit marina located on the north side of the north pier.

Oban marina is in fact on the Isle of Kerrera, less than a 1.6 kms (one mile) across the channel from Oban and offers a free ferry to berth holders.

The marina at Dunstaffnage is just 4NM away, NE of the town.

There are visitor moorings off the town and at Ardantrive, across Kerrera Sound. The latter is more sheltered in strong SW/NW winds.

There are anchorages at Brandystone, Gallanachbeg, Horseshoe Bay, Little Horseshoe Bay and at Dunstaffnage.
