Isle of Skye (Sound of Sleat) - Docking

Jan 31, 2016

There are mooring buoys at several havens in the Sound of Sleat. Usually, the maximum is 15 tons.

Moorings at Duisdale, Arnisdale, Inverie and Arisaig.

Kyle of Lochalsh: There is a pontoon west of the railway pier which is convenient for the town, but it is busy. It is also possible to berth at the Fish Pier. There is an anchorage off the hotel in 11m.

Kyle Akin: A quieter berth may be found on the yacht pontoon across the harbour at Kyleakin. There are also 3 visitors' buoys here.

For information on Portree and Plockton see separate port entries.
