Castlebay Marina is a seasonal marina. The pontoons and facilities are open from 1st April to 30th September.
Castlebay (56 deg 56.7’N, 07 deg 29.6’W) is a very good sheltered harbour with excellent holding. The best anchorage is in about eight meters, NW of the castle. There are 16 berths at the marina and a ferry pier. An alternative anchorage may be found in Vatersay Bay in about 9m. Water and fuel are available, as well as provisions. The village also has shops, two hotels, a bank, post office and a hospital.
