Due to shifting sands, up to date charts are advisable and care taken to follow the buoyage.
Burnham Yacht Harbour lies on the north bank of the river close to the town and opposite is the Essex Marina. Fambridge Yacht Haven is another 5nm further up river.
The Town Pontoon at Burnham-on-Crouch is also available for docking.
The Town Pontoon at Burnham-on-Crouch closed since mid-December because of storm damage, has been repaired and is fully operational again.
The best (and safest) anchorages are to be found in the river above Burnham.
