Blyth - Docking

Jan 16, 2013

This port offers very good shelter and 24hr access, but beware that at low water the seas can break across the entrance in strong south-easterlies.

There are visitors' berth on the Royal Northumberland yacht club pontoons at the southern end of South Harbour. The entrance to which is at the far end of the western breakwater.

The town is about a 20-minute walk from South Harbour, but there are buses as well as taxis available.
