The caves and limestone grottoes with stalactites and stalagmites provide an interesting expedition. You will need a guide to see the so-called Monster Cave.
In January and July each year, an event called "amoraa ofai" is held during which the young people (both men and women) try lifting huge stones. This is followed by much feasting and dancing.
There is now some tourism infrastructure for whale watching. Local, licensed boats will take you to snorkel with whales.
