Both water and electricity are available in the harbor at no cost.
There is a water tap by the dinghy landing in Hanga Roa from where water can be taken in jerrycans. Since NASA extended the runway (to land the space shuttle in an emergency), the local population has groundwater without problems.
In rough conditions, Michel, the owner of Orca Diving Center can deliver water to your boat. Drinking water is treated and free of contamination. Bottled water is also available in stores.

Just some thoughts:
1. Easter Island belongs to Chile, instead, here it seems to be its own country. Maybe it should be added to the Chile main article?

We state that Easter Island is part of Chile and indeed link to it from the Chile page, but as its an offshore Island we separate its info. from that of the mainland (we do the same with Galapagos which is part of Ecuador).
