Hawks Nest - Activities, Attractions & Shopping

Nov 01, 2017

Near the Batelco Tower is a turn to the road for a chapel called "The Hermitage", which stands on the highest point of the Bahamas and is really worth a visit. The path to the site is narrow, steep, warm and not a short walk. Don’t forget to bring water; you will need it on your way up. There’s a copybook in the chapel where you can write down your name etc.

If you are here in August, you can enjoy the Annual Cat Island Regatta. It draws hundreds of yachts and there’s a lot of fun, music, food and of course sailing.
