New Plymouth (Green Turtle Cay) - Docking

Jan 07, 2025

Anchoring:

Anchoring off New Plymouth town is in sand and grass and you can get as close to town as your draft allows, it shallows very gradually. Deeper draft boats will find this is the only secure place to anchor on Green Turtle Cay as the holding in both Black and White Sound is very poor.

Dinghy Docks:

The dinghy dock next to the Government Dock is damaged. Dinghies can be left at the dock just next to the Green Turtle Cay Ferry dock in town. A stern anchor is recommended.

Marinas:

Both Black Sound and White Sound provide well-sheltered berths.
