Description:
Located north of Bodrum, on the eastern shore of the Asin Korfezi. It is an expanding tourist town, easy for provisioning and supplies, next to Bodrum airport. It houses the archeological site of Bargilia and has a number of festivals, including the Hidrellez Festivities of May and the Hermias Fishing and Marine Festival at the end of August.
