Fort Bay (Fort Baai) - Facts

Dec 03, 2024

Where is Fort Bay?

The port of Fort Bay on the SW coast of Saba is the busiest place on the island. It is used by fishermen, dive companies, ferries, shipping companies and yachts. Wednesdays are particularly busy as it's when deliveries occur. The port’s facilities have been expanded and the island’s power plant has been relocated, resulting in a more peaceful environment.

The port is located behind two breakwaters and has space for landing dinghies. There are also several mooring balls available off the coast outside the breakwater, including a check-in buoy close to the harbour.
