A useful stop for yachts in transit on the west coast of Portugal, as it lies 38NM from Cascais and Sines and 107NM from Lagos.
This is a new development on the northern tip of the Tróia peninsular and consists of an enormous holiday resort which includes hotels, swimming pools, tennis courts, a casino and a golf course as well as the marina. Care has been taken to preserve the local ecology and history.
This narrow sand-strip 47 km south of Lisbon is unique. The wonderful sandy beach extends for a total of 18Km.
