Where is Maurole?

Maurole, on the northern shores of Flores, is a small market town in the province of Ende. In addition to the weekly market, there are a few small shops sell basic supplies. International tourists rarely stop in the village.

Cruiser Highlights for Maurole:

Adventurous cruisers can organise a tour to visit some of the many volcanoes on Flores or the traditional village of Bena in the district of Ngada, where other traditional hamlets located.
Bena is reported to be one of the longest surviving villages still preserving the inherited rituals and lifestyles of their forefathers.
