Cruisers report being able to undertake the visa extension process at the Immigration office here, but expect the process to take all day. Ensure your paperwork is in order. You will have to go to a bank to pay for the visa extension which is currently (June 2024) 2 million IDR per person for 60 days. This may take several hours after which you will have to return to the immigration office to wait for your visas. Officials are reported to be friendly and willing to help.

Nice anchorage in front of the sea world resort. The resort is friendly to yachts. They will watch your dingy all day. Local man, Jimmy, can provide reasonably priced diesel and gasoline. Also, he offers water, fruits, vegetables and garbage disposal.
