Mrs Mia and her husband Peto Alam will assist with laundry on Saronde Island. They have cottages available on the island priced from US$50 - $100 per night (cheaper for long stays) which includes shower, laundry and food.
Shower facilities and a laundry service are available by arrangement.
Kwandang has markets for fish, fruit and vegetables. It is advisable to get a local guide from Saronde who will help you to bargain like a local. Expect to pay around US$20 - 30 per day.
