Itea - Docking

Jun 07, 2023

The marina is located to the west of the town pier. Yachts should berth alongside where they can find a space. Transient boats tend to berth alongside the inner breakwater (no laid lines).

The marina offers good shelter, but is still rather "unfinished" with only one working tap. There are showers and toilets and fuel can be delivered by mini-tanker.

The Town Quay is susceptible to swell and not protected from the south and south-east.

For small/shallow draft yachts there is a small fishing harbor on the western side of the town which gives good all-around shelter. Depths 1-1.5m.

Galaxidi,  which is about seven kms (4.3 miles) SW of Itea, has more services and easily-obtained water.
