Anchorages
In settled weather there is a good anchorage in the northern bay in three meters over sand, off the town. It can get noisy here in high season.
Town Quay
The town has recently had its old town quay upgraded and water and electricity points installed. There are no laid moorings and you will have to use your own anchor. Holding is patchy in mud, rock and weed, so be sure to lay plenty of scopes.
Choose the west side of the quay where there is plenty of depth, the east side is very shallow. There are also visitors berths available immediately to starboard as you enter the port (charted as a 'fortification').
There may be someone present to assist with mooring at the quay (more likely in high season), assist with connecting the water hose and electricity and obtaining fuel.

Harbor fees are collected by a town official who has a small kiosk towards the harbor entrance. English spoken.
Shelter in the harbour is excellent although NE winds do set-up an incoming swell making conditions a little uncomfortable.
Services Ashore
There is a mini-market on the harbor front among all the restaurants, a chandlery on the quay and an ATM in the village. Greek gas can also be found in the village. The Post Office is closed.
The bus to Itea, goes on to Delphi. Note: The last bus leaves from Itea to Galaxidi at 21:00. Much cheaper choice than taking a taxi.

Beware if taking on fuel, I recently received only 90% of what the truck meter was showing, I have a dip stick showing every ten liters and I was short 30 out of 300 ordered and paid for. Even allowing for a few liters in the delivery hose, this is way out. €45 out of pocket on that fill.

Galaxidi is a delightful port of call, good shelter, friendly officials, water and electricity.
A great port to spend time relaxing, a nice beach and pleasant walks, good tavernas and of course, Kostas for chandlery and good advise. There is an interesting nautical museum in the town. Very convenient for stopping over on the way to the Korinth canal. We are regular visitors here.
Excellent chandlery, if Alibaba Cavern doesn’t have it, Kostas will get it most likely the next day. And he is a problem solver, ready to help all issues and keeps an eye on the boats. Good all around protection except from strong N/NE which brings some swell. The town is charming and the people are friendly.
June 2017. As said below, charming village and good place from which to visit Delphi. Bus via Itea is cheap and easy.

Only thing to add regarding mooring is that there are now berths on the quayside, immediately at the entrance, starboard side, charted as a ‘fortification’.
We spent 2 nights here, the place is charming. Nobody asked us anything so we moored for free and the power hookups were on. This is a quiet little fishing port, at least in March, probably a lot more crowded in season. T
here is no depth at all on the East side of the port but the west side has plenty of water. People are very friendly and restaurants quite good.
We came here in mid-September 2016 and there were no port police in sight, so we could moor for free!! Best berth ever. No mooring lines, need to put out your own anchor. Anchoring outside the port is also very good.
Don’t miss out on Delphi, the bus leaves up at the main town square and takes you there (but at least in September we needed to change buses once). Delphi entry fee is around 12€ per adults, kids are free.
It is a very cool waterfront you can find a lot of restaurants and cafe with good music. The town is lovely and it is a very good shelter

Nice cosy harbour. We were there for 3 nights and met about 9 Port Police people, also in their office. They are mostly friendly and sufficient in English. They invite you to come to their office and you pay.
For our 12 meter it was some 7€ per night, including good drinking water and 16 Amps electricity, for nearly every mooring place, no laid moorings. We bought fuel from Andreas: 120 liters for 1.40 € /litre, good quality.
There is at the harbour entrance a bar/snack bar with a swimming area, not a real beach but it starts with 20cm of depth, very popular because all the time we were there it was crowded.
Taxidriver tries to get (seduce) you to Delfi, 60€ for a 4-hour trip. Better take the public bus to Itea and from there to Delfi, for about 4.5€.
