Falkland Islands - Communications

Aug 14, 2024

The International Dialing Code for Falkland Islands is +500.

There is no internet café, however, several of the hotels and guesthouses in Stanley, the Tourist Information Jetty Centre and some shops offer internet facilities.

Cellphone coverage is expanding around the islands and now includes basic data capability via GPRS EDGE technology. If your phone is not locked to a network you can buy a local SIM card.
