Where is Fox Bay?

This is the second largest settlement in the Falkland Islands and consists of Fox Bay East and Fox Bay West. It lies on the southeast coast of West Falkland.

Cruiser Highlights for Fox Bay:

There is a shop and post office here as well as a post office, museum and the Fox Bay Memorial which was erected in 2007 to commemorate the passage of 25 years since the Falklands war. Easily reached from Fox Bay East by vehicle or on foot, the memorial is a large cross bearing the words “From the sea Freedom” mounted on a plinth of Fox Bay stone.

Situated at Hawk's Nest Pond on West Falkland, the Lyn Blake Nature Reserve is a beautiful wetland area that is home to a myriad of bird life.
