Situated at the mouth of the Ozama River on the south coast, Santo Domingo has well preserved historic buildings and fascinating narrow cobbled streets. The city also has a wealth of historical relics in the many museums.

The port is commercial and not to be used by cruising yachts, however up river is the small marina s. Bartolomeu that offers docking options.

Entrance Notes and Cautions:

Don't enter and night and ensure you call in advance as officials need to open a floating line that closes off the harbour for debris.
