Santo Domingo - Docking

Nov 16, 2022

Unfortunately, Santo Domingo is not an attractive place to moor but the small Marina Bartoloméu is a well priced government marina with good protection.  The harbour is tiny but the staff are friendly, showers are so-so, water is not potable and electricity is variable but staff are willing to solve any problem.

Haina, just west of Santo Domingo, is a commercial port. There is a "marina"  there that is used by local boats, however, it is probably the dirtiest place in the DR and also a high crime area.
