Vis Port (Vis) - Customs

Jul 11, 2019

Description:

The island of Vis is the most westerly of the islands belonging to Croatia. It is quieter and less developed than most other islands due to it being off-limits to foreigners until 1989.

That said, in recent years the charter fleets and flotillas have started to migrate to Vis, so during the season it can get busy and quite noisy here into the early hours.

The port of Vis is at the head of the bay, Viska Luka and lies on the northeastern part of the island. It is the main ferry port.

Port of Entry in summer only (from 1 April to 30 October).

Position:

43° 03.60'N, 16° 11.80'E (port)
