Ken-ting - Clearance

Nov 03, 2022

This is not a port of entry, however, if you speak with your agent it may be possible to arrange clearance here.

It is possible to stop at the marina here, which is on the southern side of the Island.

Advance notice is required unless it is an emergency stop. However, the Coast Guard only answers VHF Channel 16 calls in Taiwanese. Cruisers have reported not having any problems arriving without advance notification.

Do not stop at the security wharf on your starboard on entry, but make your way slowly to a slip ahead.

The authorities will come to you and will contact Immigration to come and check you in. All crew should remain on board until Immigration arrives.

A local contact here is Mr. Ting Kuo - Email: sailkuo@seed.net.tw
