Portoroz - Docking

Jun 03, 2022

The marina for visiting yachts is to starboard as you come through the entrance.  Not an easy place for a multihull to fit in.  Berthing is stern-to with a pile for the bow-line set off the dock. Careful manoevuring is required.

Anchoring is not permitted here.

This is a well-sheltered spot and a safe place to leave a boat during the winter.

Marina:

Marina Portorož is the nearest modern yacht harbour to Central Europe, as well as an ideal starting point for cruising amongst the thousands of Adriatic sea islands.

It is a safe port, a good haven in all winds, located in the protected eastern part of the Gulf of Piran, where the conditions for safe navigation and recreational sailing are stable throughout the year.
