Pitcairn Island - Money

Pitcairn Island's official currency is the NZ Dollar.  All government related transactions and banking matters are processed via the Government Treasury Office (GT Office) which is located in the Town Square.

Locals and visitors can access cash and credit cards and exchange foreign currencies.  The GT office is open three days a week on Sunday, Thursday and Tuesday.

Post Office and General Store purchasers are priced in NZ dollars.

However, all Pitcairn Island accommodation costs and souvenirs are priced in US Dollars.
