Mobile phone service (GSM 900) is available on the island however international roaming is not available and phones will not operate without a SIM card purchased (or rented) locally. There are several Internet Café’s in town and various WiFi hotspots provided by Palau National Communications Corporation (PNCC). Rates are approximately $2.50 per hour.
