Description:

Rota is also known as the "Friendly Island" and the locals are very proud of the fact that there is no crime here. It is the southernmost island of the CNMI and lies approximately 40 nm NE of Guam. Sinapalo village is the largest and most populated followed by Songsong village (Songsong).

Entry to the boat basin/floating dock area (14° 08.1161' N,145° 07.9708' E) is straightforward. Lead markers are all correct, however, the entry is narrow and the state of lights unknown, so it's advisable not to attempt entry at night. There is at least 5m depth in the entry channel.
