Visitors to Montserrat can apply for a temporary driving license using the Government of Montserrat's online portal for driving license services.

Alternatively, applications may be made in person, for the time being, at the Brades Police Station and the MCWLE office in Brades.

When using the online link, once the application has been completed and payment has been made, a receipt will be provided that serves as permission to drive on the island. Collection of the license can be made at your convenience from the Office of the Drivers and Vehicle Licensing Division (MCWLE) in Brades upon arrival on the island. Payments are easy and secure, as all major credit cards are accepted.
