A truck with fresh produce and a beer truck visit the marinas regularly. Provisioning is good in the town with a large selection of supermarkets including Sam's Club and Wal-Mart.
The Panama Bakery on the Sábalo in the area west of HSBC has very good bread.
The Molika Bakery will re-open once the winter season begins.

It is best to enter the channel leading to the marinas at high tide, and slack tide as currents can be very strong- up to 4 kts. Even at high tide we saw down to 13′ over the bar. Easiest fuel dock to access is El Cid, but beware of currents. Marina Mazatlan is in good condition, though some security gates don’t work. Showers are good and there are plenty of restaurants in the area. Air-conditioned buses are 10 pesos into the city- look for “Sabalo Centro”
