To initiate a rescue at sea call MRCC Fort-de-France (Martinique).
They will hear you on VHF Ch 16 anywhere from Northern St Vincent to half way between Guadeloupe and Antigua via several sensitive radio repeaters.
They monitor comms 24/7 and can speak both French and English.
