The marina is located on the Southern side of the River Venta entrance. It has a depth of about 3.5 meters.
The tides are negligible, but the water level fluctuates with wind conditions and may differ by 0.3 meters above or below the mean level. Currents in the river set at an average rate of one knot, increasing to two knots near the entrance.
