Airports:

There are three international airports in Jamaica: Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston, Jamaica's capital city, and the Ian Fleming International Airport in Ocho Rios. Sangster is the main entry point for most tourists [http://mbjairport.com/].

Car Hire:

Car rental is available in most major towns, cities and airports, but you can be no younger than 25 years old to hire a car yourself. It is expensive in comparison to the US or UK prices.

In Jamaica driving is on the left side of the road. The speed limit is 50 kmph (30 mph) in built-up areas, and 80 kmph (50 mph) on highways, and all drivers are required to carry a valid license. Jamaica recognizes valid International Driver’s Licenses, but visitors from North America may use their country's license for up to three months per visit.

Local Transport:

Privately run minibuses are the cheapest public transport system, while shared route taxis are great for short hops. For an occasional excursion, hiring a driver is probably the most cost-effective and hassle-free option.
