The climate is moderate, with cool summers and mild winters.
If sailing close to the coast in Estonia, the breeze in the day blows from the sea to the land, followed by a lull in winds during sunset, and then a change of breeze from land to sea in the evening. The annual prevailing wind here is from the S/SW, making the crossing from Sweden to Estonia relatively easily on one tack.

Pirita is probably the worst harbour in Tallinn and in deep need for renovation…
however there are many new Marinas.. Tallinn Old City, Kakumäe (opened 2017), Lennusadam, Mniiduranna
In Muhumaa – there is also Lõunaranna, Hiiumaa is Heltermaa etc… there is probably about 3-5 new harbours that are opened evey year.
