Kalundborg - Docking

Anchorage:

Vessels can anchor in most places in the fjord and the holding is good. South of Røsnæs Church in Kirke Bugt there is good shelter from Northerly winds. In southerlies there is a good anchorage in Havnemark Vig.

Docking:

The harbor can be quite turbulent, as there is a lot of traffic with ferries, pilot boats, etc. It is recommended, if possible, to take a slip in the guest harbour but ensure that your vessel is not tied too closely to the docks, and to have adequate mooring lines.

Vesthavnen's boat guild is responsible for collecting harbor dues from guest sailors and at the same time keeping the bridges in order.

The code for the toilet/shower is handed out at the same time as the collection of port fees. The boat association also sells diesel at the city's lowest prices, however there are limited opening hours. Call the harbor guard to arrange: Tel. 30 30 24 75.
