It provides good shelter and access in all weathers and tides.

Yachts berth between the Old Pier and Pier no. 1, in 4m, N of the central pontoon, or, alternatively, on the N side of the Bundgarns Basin in 3.5m. For the first option, proceed through the main harbor entrance, then straight ahead through the next breakwater, continue across the Indre Forhavnsbassin, turning sharply to port after passing the pier at the end. There is a fuel berth on the end of the Old Pier, which will be to stand. For the Bundgarns Basin, turn to port after passing through the second breakwater. The entrance to the basin is narrow.
