Curacao Yachting Essentials

Electricity:

127/120 V at 50 cycles.

Water:

Water is available from Curacao Yacht Club at Spanish Water.

Fuel:

Available at Spanish Water, Willemstad and Piscadera Bay.

LPG / Propane:

No gas bottles without security valves will be refilled in Curaçao. Camping Gaz bottles cannot be handled. See here for details on where to get LPG on the Island.

Getting Work Done:

Marine supplies can be found at Spanish Water and at Piscadera Bay. Repairs can be arranged at all ports. There are boatyards with travel lifts at Piscadera Bay and at Willemstad.

Provisioning:

There is a wide selection of food products and fresh goods available.

Anchoring:

Meeting other cruisers:

There's a good Facebook page "Curaçao Cruisers" and a whatsapp group (see Communications for details). The VHF net no longer operates.

Commercial Activities:

Foreign yachts are strictly prohibited to conduct any kind of commercial activities and if found doing so, it will result in a fine.
