Hemingway Marina (Havana) - Restaurants, Bars & Nightlife

Feb 27, 2023

Dinner is generally served until at least 19:00.

Private restaurants are now very popular (Paladars) and a good meal can be found for a few dollars.

The popular Friday night BBQ at the Yacht Club is a good deal.

El Laurel, at the end of canal 4, specializes in iron charcoal grill of seafood, chicken and pork. Accessible by dinghy or on foot via 5th Ave. La Vigia restaurant and bar is located next door.

La Fiesta bar and restaurant overlooking canal 2 is popular with liveaboards.

For late-night parties, La Cova on the north side of canal 4 opens nightly as a discotheque from 10 pm. In this complex, there is also a bar, pizzeria and coffee shop which sells fresh bread most mornings.

The Viejo del Mar hotel at the NE corner of the marina has a pool bar and good bakery that sells baguettes and croissants.

Lucecita Complex (Avenida 15 between Calle 182 and Calle 184 in Siboney), 2.5 miles from Marina Hemingway, part of an art school complex and decorated with sculptures and murals. Specialise in Cuban style charcoal grill, good value.
