The marina on the southern edge of the town, opposite the island of Sv. Katarina, has currently been removed due to rebuilding work ashore. It may be re-built in the future.
It is not advisable to attempt anchoring in the harbor due to the amount of chain and debris on the seabed.
An anchorage may be found in the southern side of the bay, in the sand.
The shelter is reasonably good, although rather exposed swell in winds from the W and SW.

There is actually no marina in Rovinj, as there is a huge 5 Stars Hotel in buildig process, and the whole marina is gone and will be rebuilt, too. No anchoring in the port as there are a lot of chains and anchor can be lost easily. Mooring on buoys in Uvala Lon bay south of the marina. Not very calm overnight (high swell). Dinghy to shore.
These marinas are good shelter.
