Radazul - Boatyards

Sep 13, 2018

The marina has two travelifts of 28 and 60 tons. Owners are allowed to do their own work although there are certain restrictions, mainly on the hours of use of noisy power tools, for the area is designated as residential. Prices reported being good value for money.

The range of repair facilities is steadily improving and a number of skilled men are now franchised to work in the boatyard. The marina office will advise on the best specialists available and will call them out if necessary. Otherwise, for any major repair, a specialist would have to be called from Santa Cruz. It is particularly important to contact the marina first for advice for any electronic work as there have been some problems in the past with electronic repairs. The boatyard undertakes painting, antifouling, fibreglass repair, metalwork and general maintenance.
