Falmouth Harbour Clearance for Yachts

See the main Antigua Formalities page for full details on clearing into and out of the country by pleasure yacht.

Remember, even if you have completed eSeaClear or SailClear prior to arrival, you will still need to clear into Antigua in person at the Customs/Immigration Office before proceeding to the marina or fuel dock.

For yachts clearing-in or out of English Harbor, the current operating hours for Customs and Immigration is 08:00 to 15:45.

General Procedure for Falmouth Harbour

Yachts should anchor in the bay and hoist the Q flag.

It is possible to anchor in Falmouth and walk over to Nelson’s Dockyard, English Harbour to complete Clearance Formalities.

You'll need to tell the park entrance kiosk that you are aboard a boat and need to locate the Customs/Immigration office. They will give you directions instead of charging the park entrance fee at the gate.

The Customs, Immigration and Port Authority offices are located right in the middle of Nelson's Dockyard at the old Officers' Quarters building - a large rectangle building with a big white sign above the door). If closed, go to the 'Nelson's Dockyard Marina Office' who may be helpful in finding out if and when officials may return.

See Fees for specific park fees payable in English and Falmouth Harbors.
